Wyatt Berry Stapp Earp (March 19, 1848 – January 13, 1929) was an Old West lawman and gambler, who famously took part in the gunfight at the O.K. Corral in Tombstone, Arizona. His colorful history as a legendary gunman is one of the best known stories of the Old West. Earp is buried in the Jewish section of Hills of Eternity Memorial Park in Colma, California. Although Earp himself was not Jewish, he is buried next to his wife Josie in her family plot so they could be together in eternity.
